Steemit Birthday: 9 years

Hello my dear Steemians,

 

Just recently I came across of the post of Xpilar where he mentioned that he is 10 years on Steemit, I was surprised to see that because for me it did not feel so long.

I remember that we joined Steemit one year later in 2017 and that is to my surprise makes 9 years on Steemit.

Actually with 9 years the child is almost turning slowly in grown up, what is with us and Steemit. The good thing is Steemit is still existing and actually majority of peopple who were here before are still there and that many just continue to be active.

Throughout the years there was many transformation in both on Steemit platform and in our own life, I remember we were very active both myself and myskye on Steemit, spending at least 3-4 hours daily without weekend, slowly we noticed that with that we are not able to do much in real life the time goes but we still behind of what we were planning to do.

Of course, initially the idea was to grow with Steem Power and later to use it for our renovation, it is still ongoing and requires a lot of finance. Understandably the good exchange rate of Steem would solve the expenses issues for us, but instead of our investment despite of growing started to melt in its value.

We just decided to re-distribute our time and use it in the case of my hubby for active finishing of our renovation (still it might take min 2 years, fingers crossed) and for me I am taking more extra shifts in hospital and you can imagine that I am after such work just tired and that is a secret behind of us spending less time on Steemit.
 

What is the expectation for future:

As a human being we need to have a dream, we need to have a light at the end of tunnel. A person without dream will fade away. Only a dream is a driving Power for us, we still have a hope that there will be positive good Future for Steemians.

There are obvious positive sides of Steemit platform:

 

• Steem is a real cryptocurrency

• there are many evidences how many of Steemian benefited from Steem, that they earned through being active

• Steem, can be earned by being active on Steemit platform and it is a real! There is no fraud and it is a real chances for anyone to become well known and to reach a lot.

• Recently there are noticeable new development of programs, alternative interfaces and ability to insert videos in its easy way into our post! That is great!

• what I like the most last few days that there was a positive news on Cryptomarket, The US Treasury announced it will double the maximum size of its long-term bond buyback operations from $2 billion to $4 billion per session. That made Bitcoin to go up and that is also pulled other Cryptos together up. I assume that also made Steem to slowly climb up too.
