Visited HCG cancer hospital for my brother's admission!

Life presents numerous challenges, and the true measure of our character lies in how we address them. This sentiment profoundly resonated with me while I awaited my brother's admission to a cancer hospital.

I returned home at approximately 10:30 PM,
signifying that;
I spent the entirety of my day at the hospital.

Many individuals may relate to the experience of encountering
situations or individuals one wishes to avoid, only to be faced with them nonetheless. In such moments, it feels as though a higher power understands one’s intentions
and intentionally guides them to confront those challenges.

As a child, I witnessed my grandfather's battle with oral cancer. At that time, I did not grasp the severity of the illness;
however, I now understand the profound physical and emotional trials that individuals endure during their cancer journey.

Upon arriving at the hospital at 2:48 PM, which specialises exclusively in cancer treatment, I was taken aback by the number of patients present. We were required to wait for our designated number,
as admission to a bed was necessary before
any further steps could be taken.

The previous day, I visited my brother at home and felt a deep sense of concern for his health condition.
We must maintain composure,
as we must not display our distress in his presence.

However, a notable moment arose when our number was called, and a bed was allocated for my brother. I discovered an inspiring message that read,

Occasionally, a few impactful words can remind us of the value of life and health. In times of adversity, we require uplifting affirmations to help navigate these challenges.

Tomorrow at 8:00 AM, my brother will undergo surgery, and we are all understandably anxious about this significant event.

I plan to return to the hospital, and other family members will join me.
I find myself at a loss for words when attempting to console a father whose only son is about to enter the operating room for treatment of oral cancer.

At present, I feel exhausted, compounded by various other commitments. Nevertheless, I have come to realise that prioritising our health should always be paramount.

I kindly ask for prayers for my brother's swift recovery.
