It is really sad to see how war changes peoples’ lives just like that. The enlisted, the soldiers and all who are affected just because….. everyone was living normal, with families, with life goals, with a future to look forward to. And out of nowhere, people decides their future. Sickening. Your story is heartfelt. Thank you for writing this. It is a reminder to appreciate every second, every minute that we have with all that we currently have because we do not know what tomorrow brings, what more with all the uncertainties in the world today. Hope K finds love and peace in what he enjoys doing now and in future, far from the destruction.
It is very sad, especially for those who return from something so terrible and can no longer resume their lives.
I imagine that for a normal person, seeing so much death It's traumatic.

I feel the same too. PTSD is so real. And watching all the movies related to this, it is just so hard to watch them sometimes because we start to imagine ourselves in their shoes. How hard it would be.
