Contentment with little.
Contentment with little.
Contentment with little is not easy, as we think, as the Apostle Paul taught in his letter to the Philippians, and this is true.
As a rule, skills are acquired through practice, if such ability is considered a skill, and training requires time and space.
But if you think about it, everything around us trains us, and we should already be experts in this.
And it doesn't matter whether you're poor or rich, you've been content with little since birth.
Don't believe it?
We see only what we are allowed to see, and we don't argue with it, being content with little.
Here are a few examples.
We see an old yak chain, its rusty links hidden underwater, but we don't see all the wealth of marine life that has settled on the rust-eaten metal.
Seeing mushrooms, we rejoice at the find, but we don't see the entire organism, consisting of mycenia, that has settled into the wood.
Even if we arm ourselves with a powerful lens, we don't see the full splendor of life that extends into the depths of its atomic structure, and yet we don't resent it, but are content with what little there is.
